Kendall Colwell's Intensive Care Fund

Hi friends, I'm Kendall's sister Ashley, and I'm writing this on behalf of my brother and my family.

On Friday, August 4 at around 7 p.m., Kendall was involved in a very serious accident. Someone ran a red light and hit him while on his motorcycle. He arrived at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX with critical injuries, including a TBI and spinal fractures.

In the past week and a half, Kendall has undergone several surgeries to stabilize him. At the moment, he is critical but stable. We remain hopeful, but currently, we're playing the waiting game. The doctors don't know how these injuries are going to affect my brother long-term until he wakes up, which could take months.

Right now, my family and I are raising funds to help with Kendall's hospitalization, but also to ensure that he has everything he needs when he does wake up, and to help with our extended stay in Austin so we can be close to Kendall. After he wakes up, Kendall will have a long, long journey ahead of him that involves extensive rehab and therapies.
