My mom was the strongest, most bravest person I knew. Over the past six years she has been battling colon cancer. She was finally in remission and we were building my her strength back up. She had been dealing with electrolyte imbalance for some time now. We were seeing many specialist for this. Her body was just so tired of all the pain and discomfort that she couldn’t take it anymore. Her organs began to fail quickly over the weekend and Despite every effort to save her, she went home to be with the lord and my daddy on Tuesday evening. She leaves behind 4 children, 4 grandchildren an an amazing fiancé who choose to wake up and love her each and every day, even when things were at the toughest. No one was prepared to lose her so soon. She lost her life insurance when she no longer qualified for fmla.
