Kendra's Hip Surgery

It's finally time for me to get hip surgery!
5 years ago I got diagnosed with femoroacetabular hip impingements on both hips and was told that if I didn't get surgery to correct it before I turned 35 I would need to replace my hips. 
Over the years my hips have gotten worse to the point where I can no longer play rugby, go running or hiking and am often in pain at the end of a work day.
I finally have health insurance that will cover a good portion of the cost but it will still leave me with 3,500 dollars out of pocket. As a cashier raising that amount of money is no small feat.
I will also need to take a week or (likely) 2 off work which will definitely add to the financial problems as I definitely don't have that much PTO.
Tomorrow (3/21/18) I meet with the surgeon for the first time and will hopefully be able to nail down the surgery date.

So long story short I'm trying to raise enough money to cover my out-of-pocket costs so that I can focus on worrying about living expenses while I'm not working.
