Sunday January 29th My Mom called me and said my brother was in the hospital. She said he was bleeding internally and we dint know much else. After rushing to Sierra Vista Hospital in SLO i founf him in ICU connected to everything imaginable. He didn't know what was happening and neither did we. But we were all scared. The Doctors called Stanford after they figured out that he was bleeding from his Liver. They determined that they would send a plane for him to get him to a team of specialists in Stanford but ended up with a high level emergency Ambulance to get him to safety in Stanford Hospital. So away he went as we gathered our thoughts and embraced the fear of loosing my brother. I asked my Mom when she would go and she said right away.We were both dumbfounded by this whole thing. So we get to Stanford Hospital and the Doctors say he needs immediate surgury for 3 masses on his liver. We hug him and kiss him goodbye to surgery and nervously wait... he comes out of surgery and we are both relieved and excited that he will live another day!!! We now know that the masses were NOT cancerous and that he can heal and be ok. We thank God for this! Now theres a long road of recovery for him after surgery and thats why I created this account for them. Since Michael went into the Hospital he has been unable to work. His ambulance and medical bills are in exaperating numbers totalling over $20,000 and we are trying to raise a little cash to help withit. This is to help him and his 2 kids and his wife to be of despite an emergency that would change everyones lives.
