Please aid in Ken Kempf's recovery

My heart has guided me to start this fund raising campaign for my "brother"-in-law, Ken Kempf.  Ken has a condition in which he is frequently having  strokes and heart attacks. He spends alot of time in and out of the hospital and has seen many specialists.   Yesterday, he had another heart attack.  The stents and bypasses that were recently done have all clogged.   He is awaiting open heart surgery. The surgery will be done this coming Monday.   The grim reality is that if this procedure is not successful and the doctors cannot find a plausible way to keep his veins from constantly clogging, he has approximately a year to a year and half left to live.  Ken is only 50 years old. Ken has served our country in the Army. He is a stand up family man.  He has a wife and two beautiful teenage girls. His wife, Lauren, is the sole provider for their household. She often works two or three jobs. Due to his illness, it has been a long time since he has been able to work. His girls, Tori and Alexa, are both bright, sweet, hardworking teenagers. They, as a family, are living with an extreme emotional hardship knowing that there is a  very real possiblity that they may lose this fight.  It is taking everything that they have to keep pushing through, praying and putting all of their efforts into Ken's recovery. They are  are also dealing with the extreme financial hardship that the medical expenses are creating on a daily basis (prior to this hospitalization yesterday, he has been hospitalized 9 times over the past 6 months). I cannot do anything to relieve the enormity of the emotional pain,  but I would like to try to help with the financial hardship. That is why I am reaching out through social media. Any help that you can provide for Ken, Lauren and the girls, I will be eternally grateful for, as I am sure, they will.
