Kennede's Road to Recovery❤

Hi, family and friends. My name is Miesha Lewis and I am Kennede's cousin. On July 4th Kennede was involved in a serious Side by Side (off the road vehicle) accident. The Side by Side flipped twice landing on her the second time. She recieved numerous of very serious injuries. She has a compound open fracture at the left ankle, a fractured tibia and her knee also in the left side. On the right leg she tore her PCL, ACL and MCL completely. She has 4 broken ribs and some road rash on some of her body. Doctors aren't looking for her to be able to put enough pressure on her legs to walk until the end of the year...maybe. She has had 3 surgeries in the last 5 days. Kennede has a long road of recovery ahead with inpatient physical therapy and several more surgeries to go.

After recieving permission from Kennede and her mother, I created this fundraiser because Kennede will be off work for a while and her financial responsibilities for her and her son Jax won’t cease. I know it would make her recovery process a little easier without much financial stress. Her parents are currently working to get her moved closer to their home in Texas City, as it would make it much easier for them to care for her and Jax as she heals. Updates will be made on Kennedes progress as they come. Thank you everyone❤
