Kennedy George and Ava Holloway
Donation protected
Due to overwhelming requests, we have set this account up for Ava and Kennedy to help support their academic and artistic pursuits. We will divide the donations equally. Their images were captured by Julia Rendleman and Marcus Ingram in front of the Robert E. Lee Monument in Richmond, Virginia.
The girls have been best friends for over ten years, where they met at Central Virginia Dance Academy as students in Creative Movement. They are honors students who hope to pursue careers in dance and medicine. We are truly humbled by the outpouring of love shown toward images that were intended to be family photos.
Julia stumbled upon us on Monument Ave. while we were taking pictures with Marcus. We are so thankful for this experience. Often times, black women go unseen. We are thankful to each of you who sees the beauty and strength in our daughters.
Thank you again.
