I normally don't ask for help, but when it comes to my daughter, my little Dream, my pride goes out the window. I will do anything for her, to see her happy, to see her doing what she loves, & making sure she wants for nothing. I have an extraordinary daughter with an extraordinary talent for dance, that is incredibly smart beyond her years. She excels in everything she does and I'm not just saying that because she is my daughter. Anyone that has met KennedyDream understands how true this is. She is the greatest gift given to me from GOD. She is blessed and highly favored. I knew this at birth considering she was born the day before my Father passed away from Battling Stage 4 Cancer. The saddest and happiest day of my life. Kennedy was definitely placed on this earth to heal me and my immediate family from such a great loss.
Kennedy will be turning 6yrs old June 26th. She currently is about to graduate from Kindergarten at Johnson's Learning Center. She also has a Spring recital coming up in June with Dancemakers of Atlanta. She has also been accepted into The Academy Of Scholars 2019-2020 1st Grade Class. She's active an Children's Chapel Choir & Praise Dance Team at Greenforest Baptist Church. She's also involved in Acting and Gymnastics. And of course she loves to read & play all the time. Needless to say she has a busy life. As her mother I have sacrificed so much to make sure she does and has all she needs. If I am transparent I am currently going through a divorce and now a single parent raising my daughter alone financially. I've done the best I can by myself but its extremely difficult to raise kids alone.
Most of you know me as a business owner with my partner Sakinah Lestage with Atla. We are a start up business and currently going through growth & expansion which also includes much more expenses. Needless to say I have a lot of my plate financially. My focus for this is only Kennedy-Dream. I want to give her the world and I really need help doing that. The amount I'm trying raise covers her final month’s tuition at Johnson's Learning Center, Her Graduation Fees, Her Recital Dues, Costume fees, & last month tuition, Her Reservation Enrollment at Academy Of Scholars, her monthly tuition, Her uniform fees, & school supplies.
I'm working tirelessly to make sure I can provide for my daughter as best as I can. Because all of these things are due immediately I’m reaching out for help. I never want to fail or feel like I didn't do all I could. Its hard as single parents as I'm sure many of you can relate. We will do anything for our kids, so I prayed to GOD and he told me to share my story. I was very reluctant to do this but I was left with no other options. I love her so much, she makes me so proud to be her mom. I would be grateful for any amount donated, I felt compelled to share so even prayers are priceless.
