Kennel on a Hill Moose Encounter Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Today, Bridgett Watkins and her team encountered a very angry moose when training for their rookie Iditarod. Bridgett was running a team on a sled and her friend Jen was running a team on a snowmachine. Even with precautions like a firearm and a loud snowmachine, the moose stomped Bridgett's team, severely injuring four dogs. The dogs are expected to recover, but as of now are at the vet and in surgery. Emergency vet bills can be overwhelming. Any help is much appreciated.
My name is Ryne Olson, and I'm a friend of Bridgett's. I live in Two Rivers, Alaska and first met Bridgett when I moved here 12 years ago. The funds will go directly to Bridgett to help cover Bronze, Bill, Flash, and Jefe's medical bills. The team at North Pole vet examined the rest of the team and they appeared to be ok. A big thank you to North Pole Vet for your help!
