Kenneth "BA" Whitten

My name is Shonda (Whitten) Walski, I am the sister of Ken Whitten. I am creating this gofundme account to help Ken's family offset his medical and funeral expenses. There has been an outpouring of support from friends, family and the community asking how they can help out in anyway. I am reaching out to everyone that has asked and this is my answer to each of you, " Help his parents and children take on the financial burden of putting their son and dad to rest."

Ken left us unexpectedly on Monday August 21, 2023, he was only 51 years old. He left behind his six children Kelli, Noah Sr., Autumn, Angel, Brook and Abraham, not to mention the 10 grandchildren that they blessed him with. Their dad was their rock, he was always there for each of them when they needed him the most. My Mother Carol Kruzona and Father Mel (Badger) Whitten are beside themselves, as no parent should have to make funeral arrangements for their child. No matter what age they are, your child will always be your baby.

Being the owner of Sky Images Tattooing, Ken was always reaching out to families that lost loved ones, offering his talents to provide memorial tattoos at his expense. He was always offering to help out with memorial benefits and fundraisers by providing gift cards for tattoos. Ken would go above and beyond to help anyone out that he could. He had one of the biggest hearts.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Ken will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services (6291 S. Harvey St.) with Chaplain Wesley Spyke officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday evening September 1st also at The Lee Chapel.
