Kenneth Frierson Memorial Fund

On early Friday morning, June 19, 2020 shots rang out in a home on Werling Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A man and his mother were in their home, playing a video game and watching television respectively. In the blink of an eye, gunshots rang out in an attempted robbery that killed the man and left his mother in a panic, but yet fighting to save her son's life.
Kenneth (Kenny) Frierson, 28, had a son (5) and a daughter (8 months), that he loved and cherished and they loved him more. THEY were the ones robbed, and we are left behind to pick up the pieces. Nobody plans for their life to end at such a young age, but in today's volatile world - we need to.
In the midst of the #BLM movement, one can't help but wonder what exactly that means, because we really don't seem to be getting it. We can't point the finger at a select group of people when we have 3 others pointing back in our direction. This HAS TO STOP!
Kenneth touched a lot of lives, and in his usual gentle and jovial spirit, people loved him. We are making this page available to those that wish to help build a fund to assist his children as they grow into this world without their father, but will have something to cherish his memory.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Love one another. Kenny was wise beyond his years and used to constantly tell his mother that she stressed too much about things that didn't mean anything, when life is too short and never guaranteed. She knows what that means now.
