Ken Reimer Funeral Expenses

Update: It is with a heavy heart to say that Kenneth Reimer has passed away earlier today, Apr 10, 2023, at the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, WI. He is survived by his two children (Robert and Deborah), two grandchildren (Sara and Christian), and three great grandchildren (Silas, Damian, and Trinity), and other family and friends.

The funeral will be held at a later time.

Dear family, friends, and community members:

I am writing to you with a heavy heart to request your support, via a GoFundMe campaign, on behalf of a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, Navy veteran, and friend, Kenneth W Reimer.

This is a situation that I’m sure many families experiencing funeral planning can attest to. The cost even a simple cremation is high, especially when the person left no life insurance. My brother and I are reaching out to family, friends, and a community that's meant so much to us, to ask for your support. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards his funeral expenses.

Ken was born on October 8th, 1940. He has so much love for his family and friends. Those that know him, know he is a genuine, kind, and caring person who always sees the best in people. He put his family first, over himself. He lived a simple life and did not have or need much - he never felt the need for material items. He served in the U.S. Navy, and afterwards became an OTR truck driver for 40+ years. He married once and had two children. He enjoyed singing karaoke on Friday nights, bowling, shooting pool, playing cards, reading, and simply being with family and friends when possible. Upon retirement, he lived on a set income that he made work to the best of his ability. He was a grandfather of two, and a great grandfather of three who he loved and adored dearly.
