Kenneth S. Lee Memorial Fund

Kenneth S. Lee's life was unexpectedly cut short on August 2, 2022. He had spent most of that life in service to younger generations, teaching the vitally important skills of critical thinking and public speaking. In honor of his memory, and out of respect for his life's work, his family is asking for donations with the goal of providing an annual scholarship fund. We hope this fund can be used to provide monetary awards to Cal State LA Graduate Students in need of extra financial help. Cal State LA held a special place in Ken's heart not just because it's where he received his master's degree but also because it's where he found an outlet for his extraordinary charisma, logic, intellect and wit. We would like to provide that same outlet to students who demonstrate a similar ability to elucidate complex themes with simple logic and disarming humor. In so doing we will maintain Ken's legacy by passing his torch to a new generation of thoughtful, profound and amusing public speakers.
