Kenneth Shake - Traumatic Brain Injury
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Stacy Wetteland. Kenneth is my son. On March 6, 2023 he suffered a TBI, traumatic brain injury. It has been touch and go, but he is on the mend. Right now, he has been wakened from his medical coma, he has purposeful movement and seems to turn toward someone who is speaking. He is on a ventilator and a feeding tube. He has had the left and right flaps of his skull removed to give his swelled brain room. At some point, they will put the flaps back on. It will be a long road to recovery. Upon release from the hospital he will have a lot of work to do with therapy. He and I live 800 miles apart from each other. I am hoping that people will help with donations to help with expenses, as he will not be able to work for some time. I understand that not everyone can give financially, prayers are greatly appreciated too. I believe prayers have helped bring him as far as he is. I would like for him to be able to keep his current apartment so he has a familiar place to return to. I think it would be easier for him. And, I would like to be able to go see him. Kenneth is a kind soul with a big heart. He loves nature, family, friends and his cat - Mr. Kitten Tiny Pants. I appreciate ANY help. Thank you.
