I have had a series of health issues the last 5 plus years that have included being diagnosed with congestive heart failure followed by discovery of 3 abdominal aortic aneurysms then two abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs (one surgery) that included bypass of both illiacs with a "Y" shaped Dacron tube, triple bypass, new titanium aortic valve, ICD defibrillator/pacemaker, peripheral nerve damage to right leg, femoral-popliteal bypass surgery then amputation of right leg below the knee on 8/13/19 as a result of an ischemic foot ulcer that developed gangrene. I'm not diabetic. I do have two aneurysms in my left leg that will have to undergo the femoral-popliteal bypass surgery once the healing of my right leg amputation satisfies my doctors. This will have to happen before I get a prosthetic right leg due to the danger of a potential clot (possible stroke threat) in my left leg artery that should be operated on as soon as my amputation is 100% healed. My one remaining abdominal aortic aneurysm is not large enough to justify Humana paying for a repair. All these health issues have drained all my resources leaving me solely funded by my SSI which is under $1,000 per month and food is supplemented by SNAP, which is $40 per month and Humana Healthy Foods Card , which is $50 per month and Humana OTC help which is $150 per quarter ($50 per month). I have been able to act as a construction general contractor on a very limited basis but I no longer can do the work due to being confined to a wheelchair and cardiovascular limitations imposed by my medical doctors. I need money immediately to enable me to pay for rent, utilities, prescription drugs not covered 100% by Humana, automobile insurance, gasoline, City of Port Aransas Contractor license and Surety Bond and food. I need dollars immediately to supplement the limited funds received from all the aforementioned and get me to the next phase of my life as a handicapped person.
