Kenny Harrington’s Medical & Rehab Expenses

On February 7th, Kenny suffered a stroke while visiting family in Tampa on Super Bowl weekend. Shortly after arriving by ambulance to Tampa General, they performed a craniotomy to relieve a brain clot in his brain. Thankfully, the surgery was successful.  However, he’s still far from a complete recovery.

As many of you may know, we are going on our 5th straight week in Tampa. Kenny started a new job recently and unfortunately doesn’t have health insurance yet. He is not stable enough to leave the hospital and not having health insurance has made moving him to a rehabilitation facility even more difficult. Rehabilitation is critical to getting him back to being the Kenny we all know.  I have been been forced to take unpaid time off work to ensure I’m by his side.  Since February 7th, I have been staying in a hotel since I cannot stay at the hospital. 

It’s difficult for me to ask for help but Kenny’s friends asked me to set up this campaign so they can at least help us financially during this difficult time. Since Kenny is unable to work and I am taking unpaid time off from my job, my biggest concern is paying for my living expenses while in Tampa and Kenny’s mounting medical expenses. I’ve already started receiving doctor bills.
