Kenny Hasson

Hi my name is Lisa Aweeka and I am fundraising for my brother Kenny Hasson’s family.

It is with a heavy heart that I share this news and ask for your grace and help. In late August, Kenny Hasson, aged 57, passed away while on a missionary/ministry trip in a remote area of Honduras.

Kenny was an incredible man who genuinely loved God, his family, and all people. He was generous, kind-hearted, and passionate about his faith and sharing it with others. Everyone who knew him will miss his presence dearly.

Kenny leaves behind his wife of 33 years and two beautiful sons. He was also a brother, an uncle, and a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in Desert Storm.

Unfortunately, the expense of bringing Kenny home from Honduras, an autopsy, and the surmounting costs of his passing are overwhelming. I ask for your support to lessen the unbearable for his family.

Right now, there are two primary ways you can help provide care for this family:

• The first is by praying. Pray for the family as they grieve, that even in the midst of this terrible loss they would be filled with hope as they remember Ken’s faith in Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14). Pray they would find refuge in God and be encouraged by the love they experience from family and friends.

• Secondly, assist with a donation to the family to help with the expenses related to Kenny’s untimely passing.
