Ken’s Fight 4 Life Fund

I am starting this fundraiser for the most amazing man in the world, my Dad Ken!  Back on March 26th Ken was admitted to the hospital for Pneumonia and COPD, tested for Covid and released after 5 days to rest and heal at home with oxygen. We were relieved  his test wasn’t positive but he was only feeling worse each day that was passing . My mom took him to a different hospital on April 8th and he was admitted and needing to be put on a ventilator immediately. My dad tested positive for Covid-19 less than 24 hours after being admitted. That is when the fight for his life began. He was placed under sedation on the ventilator on April 9th and is currently still on the ventilator 20 days later fighting for his life. After almost 48 hours of being off sedation he was able to wake up and open his eyes a little and give us a smile! My dad is fighting so hard everyday in there and he has a long road to go still. The Nurse told us for every 1 day he’s in ICU he will need 3 days of Rehabilitation at a facility. My dad is the sole provider for my mom & Mckaylah and he hasn’t been able to work in over a month. They own a small business and carry their own health insurance, my mom is trying her best to keep it paid so my dad doesn’t lose his coverage while fighting for his life. I know times are tough right now for everyone but if there’s anything you can donate to go towards his medical bills and rehabilitation care that he will need when he is released from the hospital, our family would greatly appreciate it! Everyone that knows Ken knows how loving, caring, and giving he is! My goal is relieve some of the financial worry off my parents so my dad can focus on healing and coming home!
