Hurricane Ian Relief for Ken Hoffman

Donation protected
Hello
I am asking for your support for my brother, Ken as he navigate through his recovery from Hurricane Ian.

In July, Ken made the decision to move permanently to his beloved Sunshine State to spend the second half of his retirement years. He purchased a manufactured home in a 55+ community in North Fort Myers (Lee County) and began the task of investing in his home to work on necessary repairs.

Then Hurricane Ian struck. You have all seen the pictures of the devastation on the news. The picture above is of the entrance to his park. Being born and raised in northern MN he has never experienced a storm of this magnitude. By the time it was known that the hurricane took a turn and was going to hit his area, it was impossible to evacuate and was ordered to shelter in place. During the course of the storm, Ken had storm surge water enter his home, his car was submerged, and nearly all of his belongings have been ruined. He is currently pursuing available resources but without electricity and transportation, it’s nearly impossible.

On behalf of Ken, and our family, I humbly ask for your help. He’s a proud man who’s feeling overwhelmed and lost at the moment. Any amount raised, no matter how small, will be used for Ken to begin to replace all that he has lost.

With deep gratitude,
Sheila
