My first step to becoming a pilot

Hi, I’m Kent. I’m 14 years old, and I’ve just been given the chance of a lifetime! I’ve been into aviation and flying my whole life, wanting to become a pilot since at least 2 years old, and now i have a chance to join a gliding club. Gliding, if you’re not familiar, is flying a specially built plane that has no engine, usually hitching a ride with a powered airplane to become airborne. Turning 14 makes me automatically eligible to get my student pilot’s license, which is more or less your learners for flying. This is the best investment to help me reach my goal of becoming a pilot! That’s why I am asking you to help me with the financial side of the goal of getting my licence . Please consider even the slightest donation, as every penny counts!

Gliding will help me become a pilot because it gets me the necessary flight hours and experience for powered flight and applying for a job. I will also be able to learn new and important skills of flight. Furthermore, this will open the door to the necessary ground school tests for future license types (think of it like airbrake certified or semi-truck certified for road vehicles). Plus, it looks pretty good on a resume when it says you started flying as soon as you could!
