Kent Hunt Sabs' new drone to save wildlife
Donation protected
Kent hunt sabs are out in the field every week trying to save foxes and hares from Kent fox and hare hunts. The weekend of 23 Feb 2019, whilst filming terriermen of the Ashford Valley with Tickham Hunt illegally digging out a fox, our drone was shot and destroyed.
The drone has proved invaluable in keeping an eye on hunts and filming any illegal activities and, as a result, in trying to save our local wildlife. If the terriermen were not acting illegally there was no need for them to shoot our drone down. Having an eye in the sky has dramatically changed how we sab hunts and makes us more effective.
We have replaced the drone but need funds to pay the costs of buying. Every donation, no matter how small, really helps towards keeping us in the field and keeping an eye on those who want to kill our beautiful wildlife.
Thank you so much.
