Help Western Kentucky
Donation protected
My name is Renie Anderson and I set up this GoFundMe to help those impacted by the recent tornados in western Kentucky on December 11th. As a western Kentucky native from Union County, I felt compelled to help in some way. Thankfully my County and surrounding towns were spared by the tornados but that is not the case for many other towns in western Kentucky. Thousands of people have lost their homes, businesses, farms and, sadly, loved ones.
Working at the NFL, I have seen what giving can do for communities, families, businesses, individuals, etc. Giving can change everything. So, if I can help in any way and replicate what I have witnessed from the sports community, at the NFL and from our NFL players, I would like to give it a shot but need your help doing it!
Growing up in Kentucky I learned the meaning of community, living in a small town and knowing that at a drop of a hat, you could have help from anyone without question, someone is always rooting for you and praying for you. Right now Western Kentucky needs help and I am asking for that help… please support my GoFundMe and if you can’t donate, please share with friends and family.
The spirit of Kentucky is strong and vibrant. No matter where you are, as a Kentuckian, you know someone always has your back. Let’s have theirs.
The funds will be collected by GoFundMe.org, which will be helping me to distribute funds. My initial plan is to distribute all funds raised (less transaction fees) to: Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund and Western Kentucky Chapter – American Red Cross . But, I continue to explore how best to help my community through these trying times and this may change. If it does, I will let you know by updating this fundraiser here.
