Kenya Farming Eagle Scout Project,Jacob Schneider

Jacob Schneider and Boy Scout Troop 15 of Shreveport, LA is requesting tax deductible donations through The Simple Church to raise $16,000 to fund an Eagle Scout Service Project. We will be partnering with The 410 Bridge to send a Louisiana based team to Kenya to teach a village sustainable farming techniques that will increase their crop yield by 60%. We will also teach basic business skills to help them take that excess food to market and sell it for profit that can be used to invest in community enhancements, future educational opportunities and lift them out of poverty. If we are fortunate enough to raise up to $30,000, that would not only cover this initial project, but would fund the follow-up visits for a full year. Any additional funds above that would go toward future missions of the Simple Church. Thank you for considering blessing us with your donation.
