Kenya mission trip-providing IDs to those with special needs

A couple of years ago, at a woman’s conference, I felt God strongly call me to do a mission trip with my beautiful girl. At the end of last year, God provided a huge opportunity for us to go to Kenya!! We will be going from July 6 through July 16, 2025! We get to go with an amazing couple from church who are the founders if Living Water of Ohio! This is a HUGE step of faith for us as it is a pretty expensive trip and we are not ones to ask for donations. But God knows that we cannot do this alone and that’s where all of you come in.

Our goal is $4000 ($2000 each) which includes all expenses! However I’d love to raise more if we can and here’s why, and explains why there is a picture of Luke in my batch of pictures.

You see, in Kenya, people with special needs are considered not even a part of society. In fact they do NOT receive ID cards like everyone else. As soon as Alyssa and I heard this in the meeting tears flowed down both of our cheeks and IT BROKE US TO OUR CORES!!!! We looked at each other and said “this is why we were called right now”!

I cannot imagine my life with out Luke but then for him to not be a part of our society??? It’s unimaginable!!!!

However there is a missionary who has built 5 schools in Kenya for children with special needs!! They provide IDs, which only cost $5 a person!!!! This allows them to then get skilled in a trade so when they are older they can work! And it is only $100 a person for them to get trained!!! Alyssa and I are the only ones going on this trip with them and that is allowing us to visit several of these schools!!!!

This is where you come in!!!! I am posting ways that you could give to our trip and this mission!! We will take any extra over with us and give it to the children at the schools so they can get these things needed to make their own money and live successful lives!

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN FINANCIALLY BUT IF YOU CAN’T THATS OK, WE NEED ALL THE PRAYERS WE CAN GET TO EXCEED THIS GOAL AND GO HELP THESE PRECIOUS KIDS FEEL LOVED AND SHOW THEM THAT THEY MATTER!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING ALONG SIDE US TO HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
