Kenya Orphanage Mission Trip

Hey, my name is Daniel

Part of my story growing up, I did a lot of drugs and fell into a rough patch of my life. I was looking for something more in life but in the wrong places. I was in and out of rehab looking for a way out. It wasn't until I met Jesus I became fully free. It definitely wasn't an easy process but I'm so glad where I am today, Thanks to God. I'm currently at Youth With A Mission University in Kona Hawaii. I'm doing 10 months of in-depth school, learning the bible, how the world works, and how to be an effective communicator. God has had me on a journey and now he has opened the door for me to go to Kenya. This mission trip is for the whole month of July. I and a team of 7 people are going to be launched out to an Orphanage called Agape Children. This orphanage is working on taking kids off the street and helping them get reunited back to their families. 80% of orphans have parents but they might not feel safe going home. We are going to be there to help with their day-to-day operations, academics, teaching, playing with the kids, street ministry, visiting families who have been reunified and whatever God may have for us. Overall the money would be for my flights, food/water, housing, on-the-ground transportation, translators, and ministry expenses. I've always wanted to go to Africa my whole life, and now that God has opened the door I am more than thankful! I have a huge heart for kids and I can't wait to see how I can help. Lord, I pray that your will would be over this mission trip and that whoever is reading this would be blessed. Amen.
