Support Kevin's Business, Affected by Lockdown
Our friend Kevin's restaurant, Ke Ola Poké, has been severely impacted by lockdowns and various restrictions.
We’d like to try and raise awareness about his restaurant.
Two ways to help:
1. Make a donation if you'd like to donate to support his small business
2. If you live in the Ottawa/Gatineau area, please order a meal from Ke Ola Poké.
All the money raised here will go toward:
1. Purchasing gift cards for his restaurant. This will give the restaurant immediate
support.
2. Then, we'll pass those gift cards out to people in this region to help new customers learn about his delicious food!
How we know Kevin:
Kevin and (my husband) IJ train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu together and I met him when we would go to his restaurant pre-pandemic. He is an extremely kind and friendly guy and such a hard worker. We've loved going to his restaurant and seeing his entrepreneurial spirit.
He only started this restaurant a few years ago and it was really starting to pick up just before the pandemic hit. Starting a restaurant is difficult even in the best of times and he has continued to push through despite all the challenges that this past year presented.
He had to close his sit-down restaurant during the first wave of lockdowns and moved to a take-out style location where he set up shop again in the middle of the pandemic. These second wave of lockdowns continue to bring difficulties to his business, so please consider making your next date an outing to KeOla Poke!
We've been inspired by his grit and determination so we want to support him in any way we can. We don't want to see another small business go under due to lockdowns and restrictions!
It's a win-win!
If you're in the Ottawa/Gatineau region, please order a meal from Ke Ola Poké.
Thank you for supporting this!
