Keratoconus Eye Surgery For Phinehas Manchala
Donation protected
Hi, I am trying to raise funds for my son Phinehas Manchala. Last year he was getting ready to go into the Marines boot camp and passed all the tests; one of the last tests was an eye examination. When the examiner looked at his eye, he recommended that Phinehas go to a specialist for an eye exam. Upon doing the eye exam, the doctor found that he has Keratoconus. Keratoconus is thinning the cornea; over time, the eye deteriorates and causes irreversible vision loss. The marines said they could not take him because of his eye condition. Keratoconus is a recently treatable eye condition. Through this surgery, they can arrest the deterioration in the eye but not reverse it. The crosslinking surgery will help stop the deterioration of his vision.
Phinehas is a joyful, content, and very thoughtful young man. If you can help Phinehas get this much-needed surgery by helping financially and praying for him, we would be very grateful to you.
The funds will be used for surgery expenses, Travel, and other costs because he will have to make several visits before and after the surgery.
