Kerri Lauren McNulty 1980 - 2024

Our community has lost a warrior. Kerri was a gentle, beautiful soul with fierce determination. A devoted daughter and sister who traveled the world from our national parks to the northern lights of Iceland and so many places in between. An accomplished photographer and supporter of the arts. A brilliant legal mind, gracious in both victory and defeat, Kerri was the very definition of what all attorneys should strive to be. A mentor, a friend, the best party planner who always gave out the neatest holiday cards and most thoughtful gifts.

On behalf of her family, we are raising funds to dedicate a bench and tree at Fairchild Tropical Garden in her name. Kerri took great joy in her garden, she loved the butterflies and the bird cam that captured all the winged visitors to her house. She delighted in showing off her photographs of wildlife she saw on her travel adventures. We can think of no more perfect dedication to her than providing a place amidst the beauty of nature for reflection and contemplation in her name.

A Proclamation will be presented to Kerri’s family at Miami City Hall on April 25 at approximately 830 AM. The Celebration of Life will be held on April 28th from 1 pm to 4 pm. The Tree and Bench dedication will start at 1 pm and the Celebration of Life will be held in the Arts Center located on the grounds.

Your generous donations have allowed us to sponsor the tree and bench dedication ($15,00.00) for the McNulty family and provide the event space and food/refreshments for our tribute to Kerri. Any funds remaining after will be donated to a charity of the family’s choosing in Kerri’s name.
