Kerrie runs a marathon for wildlife

In October, I will be attempting to defy the odds and do what an orthopaedic surgeon told me I would never be able to - that is, run a full 42.2km marathon.

In doing this, I would love to try to raise money for a local wildlife rescue, Waratah Wildlife Shelter. All of the training, time, effort and money I will put into completing this event is nothing compared to the work wildlife carers put in day in and day out to rescue and raise our precious wildlife, giving them a chance at life when they have encountered troubles.
