UPDATE 3/12/2025: I actually had my consultation this afternoon! Assuming my bloodwork comes back normal, I will be getting a call to schedule my hysterectomy sometime next week. I am aiming to schedule for early May. Recovery time is confirmed to be 6-8 weeks.

Due to a clerical error, I was directed to the wrong office on the day of my original appointment, therefore missing my consultation. It was finally rescheduled for March 12th! Because of this, I am pausing fundraising for the time being!

Hi friends! Kerri here.

I finally went and scheduled my hysterectomy consultation for January 29th, 2025! I don't have a surgery date set yet, but I'm trying to get this done ASAP and I'm getting my ducks in a row! While I'm prepared in most ways and very excited, I need some community help to crowdfund for my basic financial needs during my healing while I cannot work.

The bulk of the fundraising will be for two months of rent ($600 x 2 = $1200). The rest will be used for transportation costs, pet care costs (dog walking, pet food), food costs, and monthly utilities.
