Kerry Hospice Care in Memory of Oorla ❤️
Donation protected
Hello the Casey family here,
A few weeks ago we lost our beautiful mother to cancer, a battle she endured for over a year. When mom was first diagnosed she showed both a mental and physical strength that really solidified what an inspiration she was to us in our family. The battles she went through for those months are something nobody should ever go through but yet she did it with a smile on her face.
We will miss her everyday for the rest of our lives it will never be the same without her. But we couldn't have had the special time we had with her without the Palliative Care Unit in Tralee. It is a facility like no other the support they not only provided Mom but us as a family is something we will never be able to thank them enough for. Even in this unfortunate situation we couldn't have been luckier to have this facility so close to home. So it is only fitting to give something back and we know this would be a wish of Moms too. Nothing is too big or too small even spreading the word for this fundraiser would mean the world.
A coffee morning both in support of this fundraiser and in memory of Mom will take place on February the 5th in An Riocht in Castleisland at 11am until 2pm. If you would like to come for a tea or coffee and a chat you are more than welcome or do a mile on the Riocht track would also be fantastic! It will be lots of fun..
Thank you all for the love and support ❤️
The Casey Family.
To clarify we the Casey family (Con, Roisin, Saoirse and Blathnaid) are raising funds for KERRY HOSPICE CARE in memory of Oorla. These funds are essential in the care of palliative patients all over the county in addition to the development of more facilities.
