In Loving Memory of Kerry Lyn Trudel

Hello,

As some of you know I’ve worked with Kerry’s boys as their respite worker for several years now. She has become not only a close friend but my chosen Family.

On April 17th, 2025 Kerry Lyn Trudel has taken her life at the age of 39 years old, just short of a month from her 40th birthday.

I am asking for the community to come together to assist the family and friends in raising funds for funeral costs, proper burial and headstone as well as helping her boys for needed counselling and future education expenses.

Firstly, Kerry was a mother of two twin boys who she loved dearly and were the center of her life. Today, at the young age of 13 years old these boys are faced to go on without their mother by their side. Thankfully, they have a tremendous amount of support within their circle of family and friends and I’d like to thank each one of you who have reached out and offered a lending hand.

Kerry was an important member of the community who helped many throughout their darkest moments. She never hesitated to offer a helping hand, a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.

Kerry was an inspiration for many who’ve crossed her path and an example of what a genuine beautiful soul resembled.

She was a rare gem that the world needs more of today.

Kerry has always stated that it takes a village; I kindly ask that we become that village to support her family and friends who are grieving in these most difficult times and help her babies get through the hardships to come.

She deserved to be honoured for all the good she has brought to the community.

Kerry would want her babies to be well taken care of and it would mean so much to me if the boys had somewhere that they can visit their « Maman »
