Update: I'm currently in Mexico and had my first treatment yesterday! Unfortunately two resources I was counting on have fallen through, and the high peso is also making the exchange rate unfavorable. Hello, I'm struggling with MSA, a fatal neurodegenerative disease. It is a sort of cross between Parkinson’s and ALS. Symptoms are already tough to deal with: slurred and labored speech/difficulty finding words at times, Bradykinesia (slow and heavy movements,) GI issues, POTS, Orthostatic hypotension, pain and stiffness, drastic blood pressure swings, REM sleep sleep disorder (violent acting out of nightmares,) facial and cervical dystonia, brain fog, fainting, weakness and falling, hyponatremia, stridor, vocal cord tremor and more. Apparently longstanding autoimmune illnesses put me at further risk. I did go into remission 6 years ago from autoimmune issues with my 25k worth of stem cells etc; this is a recent development brewing around two years. Prognosis is poor and carries risk of sudden death from seizure or stroke A top MSA doctor at NIH urged doing whatever I can ASAP, including cells to spinal cord, vaporized and via IV. MSCells alone are not enough; this requires a multi-pronged approach. I’ve begun numerous supplements, lifestyle and medication adjustments plus new meds to keep me safer; had my first stem cell treatment a month ago at Midwest Stem Cell Center (see photo.) After a recent hospital stay during which everything went wrong, I realized I’m racing against the clock. Seeking hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT, 11k for a personal chamber,) minimum 15k more stem cells (which I’ll receive much more cheaply in Mexico,) and various other miscellaneous resources such as travel to Drs. And potential clinical trials. Again, this is for starters.. it will be a long road. In advance I am very, VERY grateful for any help that can be spared. Like so many of us, I was hit very hard financially by covid, plus a family crisis ensued… otherwise this would not be necessary.
