Help Denise fight breast cancer

Denise has been diagnosed with stage 2-3 ductal carcinoma breast cancer a few months ago , since then she recently started her very long journey of treatments which includes eight rounds of chemo every other week (the red devil included) for Four months. She will then wait six weeks to recover and let her body rest. Next she will then go in for surgery to have a double mastectomy, two weeks later reconstructive surgery. Four weeks after that, she will start radiation treatment every day ( this was due to the cancer being in her lymph nodes) . She will then take six weeks off for her body to recover before she has her final surgery to fix any burns on the breasts from the intense radiation.

Needless to say, this is going to be a grueling year not only for Denise but her wonderful husband Dave who has been by her side every step of the way , unfortunately missing a lot of work on chemo days and while Denise is dealing with the side effects of chemo. Dave will have a lot on his shoulders carrying the workload , juggling 3 kids and on top of that tuition for school . Unfortunately the type of work Dave does he will not get paid time off and is missing a significant amount of pay for not being able to be at work.

Denise also has a business of her own which she will have to put on hold at this time but still keep up with the expense of her space . Needless to say Denise will have no income coming in which her and Dave rely on.

This past summer has put this family into a position they never imagined and we as Denise’s childhood friends wanted to start a gofund me to try to help ease the stress as much as we can .
