Kevan Tran who solely owns and operates Penn Lake Roast Beef was was shot in an attempted armed robbery. Kevan is a beloved community member of Bloomington, MN.

Kevan has never been away from his restaurant for a long period. He lives & breathes Penn Lake Roast Beef, rocking his signature black hat with his grease stained t-shirt.

We are raising funds to help cover Kevan's medical expenses and keep the overhead for the restaurant

On the evening of June 16, someone attempted to rob Kevan. That person shot Kevan, at his restaurant - Penn Lake Roast Beef. Luckily, he ran next door for help before collapsing.

He is currently receiving care at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

For 25 years, He worked at Wally’s Roast Beef in Bloomington. Then, he ventured out to pursue his dream, Penn Lake Roast Beef. It quickly became a local spot to go for lunch and dinner. The famous roast beef sandwich. Plus many comfort meals.
