My Medical Mission Trip
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I'm a senior at the Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State and will soon be graduating and hopefully heading straight to medical school. But for now, I'm getting my final experience of college life and am loving every second of it. Part of what has made my collegiate experience so special has been my involvement in Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED), a premedical honor society at NSU. This year I'm the historian of the organization and am working under the best president the organization has seen in my time here. This year, AED is planning a medical mission trip to Belize to administer flouride varnishes on local childrens' teeth to help their oral healthcare. The cost of the trip will be roughly $1,500. Since my father passed away during my sophomore year of college, I have worked two jobs to support myself as best I can. Any small donation would mean the world to me, as I've always dreamed of going on medical mission trips and will not be able to go without monetary assistance.
