As some of you know, my dad recently underwent a life altering surgery. Due to an infection in his foot and the complications of diabetes, my father lost his leg from the knee down. Praise God that his surgery was successful and he is under great care while he is healing, but this is not the end of his journey. The road to recovery and getting a prosthetic is a long ways away and in the meantime we need to alter his home to be as accessible as possible. This includes bathtub modifications, added railings, ramps, shower chairs, chair lifts (if necessary) and many other alterations. Along with that, the hospital bill will soon be a burden for us along with the rehab costs and purchase of the prosthetic. We will eventually need to add certain appliances to his car once he is able to drive (since he lost his right leg) as well. A lot of you have asked how you can help. Anything you can give is welcomed. We of course appreciate your prayers if you are unable to give financially. The family has been overwhelmed with how much support and love that has been sent to my dad during this time. We love you all and we are eternally grateful to all of you. Thank you so much!
