Kevin Bostick Medical Expenses

Kevin started experiencing severe stomach pains and was admitted to Northside Gwinnett Medical Center on November 28 after a visit to the Emergency Room the day before. Kevin was given less than 24 hours to live after an initial diagnosis of pancreatitis with complications from pneumonia; his pancreas, kidneys and digestive system started to shut down and his blood became toxic. By the grace of God, Kevin managed to pull through and was moved to the Intensive Care Unit until December 13 to ensure he was closely monitored.

He is now out of Intensive Care but remains in the hospital with no line of sight for recovery as his doctors are still amazed he is still with us. He has been on numerous rounds of dialysis and his organs are still not functioning properly. He is still in a great deal of pain and is still being closely monitored by the hospital staff while the doctors try various treatments to see if any will get Kevin's organs and system back to working order. He will remain in the hospital for the unforeseeable future.

Kevin's role as Associate Director for Global Supply Chain at Avanos was eliminated on September 22, 2023. Since then, Kevin has been volunteering his time to help support the local community. With the uncertainty of his treatment and hospital stay, supporting Kevin financially during this difficult time will provide him and his family with peace of mind so he can keep his focus on his recovery.
