Kevin Bowyer’s urgent eye surgery

Kevin John Bowyer is known for his prolific recording and recital career and his performances of modern and extremely difficult compositions.

Aside from playing the organ, he reads modernist literature, especially James Joyce, Samuel Beckett and the Powys family.

Due to complications with cataracts and other eye issues, he has had to stop playing. These are simple issues which can be easily fixed with private surgery, but has over an 18 month waiting list on the NHS. Until then, he is unable to see to read, practise or perform.

In addition, his landlord is selling, so he needs to save £ to move, therefore can’t pay for the surgery.

He’s too stubborn to ask for help, so please let us all help him.
