Hello Everyone,
My name is Abby Adrayan, Kevin's sister Rachalle is my best friend and I wanted to do what I can to try and help her and her family through this really hard time. I wanted to start this goFundme to try and raise a little funds to help alleviate the costs of Kevin's new journey at life. If you feel moved to help out it would be greatly appreciated. No donation is too small and any thing will help.
In the early morning of July 15,2018 Kevin was in a horrific car accident which broke his C6 and C7 vertebrae during the accident; because of this, the bone fragments severed his spinal cord. He was in surgery for 12 hours in which they performed a spinal fusion. Kevin is awake and alert and did not sustain any brain injuries. He is the same Kevin you all know and love but is unable to talk due to being intubated at this time. Unfortunately, because his spinal cord was severed, Kevin is paralyzed from the shoulders down. He is currently on a ventilator to help him breathe, however his breathing has progressed over time and we hope that they will remove the ventilator soon.
For those of you who know don't know Kev, he is a very active person, fun, loving and caring. He was just promoted to Ssgt in the US Air Force and had dreams of becoming Officer. He loved being in the military and serving our country. Due to his condition, he will no longer be able to remain in the military and will be considered medically retired. This is heartbreaking news for him.
We are so thankful Kevin survived the accident and is still here with us today. His recovery will be long and hard, but he is blessed to have a very loving family and so many friends that will be there to support him on his new journey.
Although he is considered paralyzed, we believe in God and the miracles he has performed. We ask that you all pray for Kevin's current condition and speak healing in the name of Jesus.
"Whatever you ask in MY name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it" -John 14:13-14
