Remembering Kevin D'Souza
Donation protected
Every 15 minutes, a child is born with congenital heart disease (CHD). This was the case in September of 1982 in Naperville, IL on the day that Kevin D'Souza was born.
By every researched based stat, he should have not made it past his first few birthdays.... but he did. He shouldn't have lived long enough to drive a car... but he did. He shouldn't have lived long enough to attend summer camp, fall in love, graduate from college, buy a house, see the Cubs win the World Series, spoil his sister's kids, start a business... but he did ALL those things. And he did them with so much love for life and those around him. He was the subject of multiple medical journal articles and continued to exceed his doctor's predictions until today.
Kevin passed away unexpectedly overnight, leaving his mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, young niece and nephew with out their K-Ma. He was 41 years old.
With the permission of his family, I'm asking you to consider making a donation to offset final expenses as a way to honor his light, laughter, and larger-than-life personality. With any remaining funds, the family will choose a non profit organization supporting children and families affected by congenital heart disease.
