Kevin Houk needs our help!

Kevin, a 55-year-old schoolteacher, is being taken from us by cancer and the lack of funds to fight it. He has an 18 year-old-truck and lives in a 600-square-foot substandard house that he has been trying to remodel and make livable. He has been told by two of the best cancer surgeons in Northern Indiana that he has 1-2 years to live. They stated the cancer is beyond their skill level to treat or remove. They stated that if he wishes to survive he would need a surgeon with abilities they don’t have. Luckily we were accepted by the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Upon our first visit, they stated to us they could handle the treatment and removal and beat this cancer. We believe them. However the cost of travel, hotel, and the cost of treatment, MRIs, CT scans, and labs it’s all becoming costly and we haven’t even started surgery. We are fast running out of money. I am a retired school teacher and Kevin lives on a school teacher's pay. Basically, we make enough money to cover month-to-month essential bills. Therefore his two sons and I, his father, are humbly asking for help. Anything would help, even $1 or 5 dollars. The thought of losing him because we don’t have enough money just doesn’t seem right. He loves God, his family, and his job very much. Please please help us keep him alive!
