On June 5, 2017 in Orlando, Florida my husband and best friend Kevin Kyle Lawson was murdered by a disgruntled employee along with other victims at a workplace shooting at Fiamma on Forsyth road making worldwide news.
This senseless act has devastated me, my family, friends and people that never knew him.
Kevin was the love of my life and the best husband and father imaginable. He would give anyone the shirt off of his back or drop everything to help someone in need.
Please pray for all of the families and friends of the victims included in this tragedy below:
Kevin Lawson, 46
Robert Snyder, 69
Brenda Motanez-Crespo, 44
Kevin Clark, 53
Jeffrey Roberts, 57
I was never informed of his death via the police even though I was there with family and friends many hours before it was announced during a press conference on TV. YES a press conference on TV is how we actually heard the confirmation… no one from any agency called me directly to inform me of my husband’s death so we had hope that Kevin was still alive. Orange county Sheriff Jerry L. Demings said he had informed all of the victims’ families on live TV… That was not the case we were insulted by excuses and stock apologies. This is blatantly negligent and unacceptable.
Please consider any donation to help me fund the approaching costs ahead and to help all of the other victims family’s too with any extra proceeds.
Sincerely,
Janet M. Lawson
