Dear Friends,

As some of you are aware, a very near and dear friend, Kevin Lamza, is battling colon cancer at 47 years of age. After some unfortunate events of being misdiagnosed with diverticulitis and then a delay in getting a colonoscopy due to the Covid outbreak, he ultimately was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Kevin has been battling this disease for the past 4 years with amazing resiliency and positivity throughout the whole process. But the time has come dear friends, for us to help this amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend. The pain is becoming unbearable and the financial burden has become overwhelming. The four-year battle including numerous treatments, appointments, and alternative care, has taken a physical, emotional, and financial toll. We are kindly asking for any support you are able to give Kevin and his family at this time, whether that comes monetarily, through prayers, or acts of kindness.

Kevin lives in La Grange with his wife, Amanda, and has two children Kyler (incoming senior) and Kenna (incoming sophomore). Kevin is very knowledgeable in show animals due to his family upbringing in Moulton and is looking forward to assisting his daughter, Kenna, show her first steer this year. His son, Kyler, is recovering from shoulder surgery and is eager to watch him play again soon on the baseball field.

If you know Kevin, then you know he is truly ‘one of the good ones.’ He would do anything, for anyone, at any time. He truly deserves all the help we can give him.

Kevin is using this time to urge all of you to get your colonoscopies!
