Kevin Mial's Road to Recovery

First, Kevin would like to thank you for taking the time to read this.

On September 16th, Kevin shattered his humerus while training. Kevin was told it was a freak accident and underwent surgery days after. Despite losing his Mother, Father, and overcoming many harsh trials in life, He has continued to chase his dreams and be resilient through it all. This injury is just another battle Kevin must face, but this can make it challenging not having the necessary guidance and support from his parents on a daily basis. Amid confusion and recovery, his manager completely fell off the grid and left him without income. This put him in a very tough situation, to say the least. His usual bills were beginning to pile up and he was going through savings just to stay afloat. As he was trying to figure out a way to acquire some income (through job search, social media, and photography gigs), he began to receive medical bills. Unfortunately, his health insurance was in a transitional phase due to his agency moving him to Florida. Kevin took very few precautionary steps due to his manager constantly reassuring him that it would never be a problem. Despite the "reassurance", he is now left with hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills to pay off. Most recently, Kevin got into a car accident with a drunk driver and totaled his car. He is now on the verge of not having an apartment/home and is left without a vehicle. Throughout the past four months, he has tried to continue training and recover as much as possible. However, he had to put training on the back burner more than he ever thought he would need to. He trains not for himself, but for those that he hopes to reach and bless with the nonprofit organization (The Koester Fund). God has placed the organization heavily on his heart. He knows there is a reason God has placed him in this situation and he is hoping to tell of a great testimony once this season of tribulation is over.
