Kevin O'Neal Family COVID Relief Fund
Hi, my name is Diane...I'm Kevin's ex-wife and close friend.
Many of you know him as Kevin but his given name is Alfred Lowell Fourmentin. Most in his childhood called him Lowell. When we named our daughter he was adamant that she has the same initials as he does and that we call her by her middle name....thus giving her the initials of ALF! Yes, just like the show. Kevin was adopted as an infant and raised by a very loving woman. His father was a truck driver and spent lots of time on the road. His mother was a major figure in his life and he's always talked so lovingly about her. He lost both his parents years ago. Losing his mother was devastating! No one in his adopted family informed him and he was not allowed to be there when she passed away! I can't tell you what this did to him!
Kevin has one daughter Ayme Lene' Fourmentin. Those two love each other immensely and Lene' means the absolute world to him. He has two stepdaughters, one he helped with raising who is now 37, and basically an adopted daughter (mine) that he loves and who calls him Dad (Hailee). He relocated from Alabama (where he loved living) to California to be close to his daughter when she was small and that's how a good portion of you from his FB know him. From his teenage years as "4Monty's Disco" in New Mexico, Bands in Amarillo ...." Kracker Jack", "Badd Habit" and Radio at Z93 or one of the Best bar DJs (The best as far as I'm concerned!) in Amarillo, TX. Or From the Barstow radio station to his bands "The Working Poets", "BC3PO", "American River Band", Kevin O'Neal Sound Labs, or his Karaoke. He loves his music!
As most of you also know Kevin has been in the hospital fighting for his life against the new more dangerous Delta Variant of COVID. He was not vaccinated and truly regretted it!

He was scared but as you can see from his FB live he was pretty sure he was going to beat this thing and we are not giving up yet!
However....the medical staff has informed us that he is in critical condition and the odds are against him. COVID is destroying his left lung. Even if we have our miracle his recovery is going to be an extremely difficult road and his girlfriend Debbie will need the help. The odds of being a drummer or singing again are unknown and highly unlikely and recovery is going to be an extremely difficult road.
Basically, the hospital staff is waiting for us to get there!
We have already had a tough year. I picked up Lene' from Kevin's home in California last summer along with my mother who is 78 with a lot of medical conditions from Las Vegas. We've gone through this pandemic, losing my brother-in-law to COVID when we arrived and then a freeze in Houston Texas. All staying in a Marriot hotel for 8 months. The cost was hard to make and with no help from family. We made it into an apartment in April with the help of one sister and Kevin on the deposit! Now, this! We are devastated and trying our best to navigate it all!
We need your help! His friends and those who are in this with us!
We live in Houston Texas and along with travel and so forth in California ASAP!
The funds for this, medical and possible (I'm not going to mince words....highly likely) life-ending expenses are desperately needed!!!!
The amount listed was an extremely small estimate! ANY and as much help as we can get is needed and we are grateful for whatever help we can get!!! If we don't get our miracle there are many things that will need taken care of and within a short period of time since our life is in Houston Texas!
