Kevin Orozco's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Our dear friend Kevin was involved in an accident late Sunday night, October 1st. He was rushed to University of Iowa Hospital in critical condition. He sustained a fractured skull, fractures on his C1, C3, C4, C5, and C6 vertebrae in his neck, torn ligaments on the back of his neck, a shattered patella and fractured toes. His recovery will be long and intense, as he will have to return home to Illinois to begin physical therapy and rehabilitation.
He has been at the University hospital all week with his mother, father, sister, girlfriend and other immediate family. Many people have reached out and asked how they can help. Kevin has incurred many expenses from this tragedy, not only from not being able to attend classes for the remaining of the semester but also from extensive medical bills. Any contribution you can make will be so greatly appreciated.
Kevin has the kindest heart and is loved by many. He is strong, compassionate, and has maintained such a positive attitude throughout this entire experience. He will continue to fight and plans to recover fully.
Kevin has been moved into the Neurology Unit and is able to see visitors. At the moment, he is expected to be released sometime this week.
Kevin's mother, Stacey Christensen, will be the benficiary for this campaign. All donations will be used by her to pay medical expenses.
Please keep Kevin and his family in your prayers.
With love,
Anders
