Soulmates. A word that people use when describing two people who complete each other in ways that seem extraordinary. 28 years ago Kevin and Renee found their soulmates in each other. Anyone who knows the two of them can attest to their love and commitment to each other, and to their son Jason. To see them together was to see love manifested. On March 19, their time together was abruptly cut short when Kevin unexpectedly died of a heart attack. He was only 48 years old.
Kevin was a quick witted, kind hearted man. He was always there to lend a helping hand, and most importantly he was completely dedicated to his family. Though he was Shaun and Danny's uncle, he was more like a brother. He was the person they called whenever they needed anything, whether that was a hand with a project, or a comforting word.
A few years back, Kevin and Renee decided it was best for Renee to work part time in order to be able to spend time with Jason, which means now that Kevin is no longer with us, she has to figure out all of the expenses on her own. Thankfully, as member of the Local 79 union Kevin's burial expenses have been covered, but I'm creating this GoFundme with the intention to assist with the other life expenses that will come up in the immediate future before Renee has had the opportunity to truly figure out the next steps. If you would be kind enough to contribute anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Our family has suffered tremendous loss and is grateful to the friends who have supported us through this time.
