Hi, my name is Nancy Sanford, the aunt of Kevin Washington Jr. I'm coming to you on behalf of the Washington and Shipp Families. We are asking for assistance with the Homegoing Service for Lil Kevin. He was tragically killed on the night of November 17, 2022, in a car crash that involved four other young people in Lincoln Park, MI. It was reported on all the local news stations, but we had no idea Kevin was involved. Kevin was a passenger in the back seat of the car. Kevin had a good sense of humor and loved fashion, wildlife, spending time with his family and helping people. He was looking forward to graduating from High School to further his education. He had aspirations to be a truck driver. Our hearts go out to all families involved in the tragic situation. We offer our deepest condolences and prayers to each family. We ask for your assistance to help cover the funeral and burial services. The Wilson-Akins Funeral Home will be handling the services. The cost of the services, including the burial, is estimated to be $8,500. We thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
