Kevin McNamara Memorial Infant School Foundation

To support the building of an infant school for disadvantaged children in Uganda Africa.

The purpose of our work is to alleviate poverty and to promote education and

opportunities for disadvantaged and young children in the Nyambuzi Village district in Uganda.

The impact of this school will be that the disadvantaged children of the Nyambuzi Village, Uganda will benefit from the provision of a new purpose-built, safe modern school. The key point is to ensure sustainability in this investment. By investing in education the children, who are the future workforce, are likely to have enhanced success. The impact will be “ better trained”  children who will help the region and the country to do better. Education also leads to better health choices.

About Kevin

Kevin worked as a chaplain at Letterkenny hospital for 12 years, a vocation he really loved; sadly Kevin died suddenly on the 26th April 2016. During this time he worked with a priest from Uganda. This priest was very impressed with Kevin so much so after his passing he and his brother priest decided to build a preschool in his memory. To fulfill this project they depend entirely on donations.
